Buying guide
A fixed UHF reader connects to each antenna with a coaxial cable, and the connector on both ends must match the ports: Identium multi-port readers use SMA antenna ports, while antennas are supplied with SMA, TNC or N connectors depending on the model, so state both when you enquire and an adapter is added where the ends differ.
Cable classes such as LMR-195, LMR-240 and LMR-400 differ in thickness and in how much signal they lose per metre: the thinner class suits a short run to an antenna beside the reader, the thicker class a long run to a dock door or a lane. Typical lengths for the class are 3 m, 5 m and 10 m; keep every run as short as the layout allows, because signal lost in the cable comes straight off the read range.
A reader with a PoE Ethernet port, such as the PoE UHF multi-port reader, can take its power over the network cable from a PoE switch or from an injector that sits between an ordinary switch and the reader. An IEEE 802.3at injector is the class that suits a reader rated for PoE+. Readers without PoE use the power adapter supplied with them; tell us the reader model and we quote the matching spare.
Thermal-transfer RFID label printers print and encode labels through a ribbon: a wax-resin ribbon is the usual choice for paper labels, a resin ribbon for synthetic (PET or PP) labels and for prints that must resist smudging, solvents or heat. A 110 mm wide, 300 m long ribbon is a typical size for the class; match the width to the labels and the core to the printer. Blank UHF label rolls for these printers are listed under UHF labels and inlays.
For the CX1500N handheld reader we quote a spare 10,000 mAh battery for shift-long inventory counts and a charging cradle for the reader (spare-battery bay confirmed at quotation). Spares for other handheld readers are quoted per model.
For RFID cards issued to staff, students and visitors: clear CR80 card holders (for the 85.6 × 54 mm card size), lanyards printed with your name or logo, and retractable badge reels that let the wearer present the card to the reader without unclipping it.
RFID-blocking cards and sleeves, for people who carry contactless bank cards and an access card together, are quoted on request. Holders, lanyards, reels and blocking cards follow the consumables rule (minimum order 500 pcs); cables, adapters, injectors, brackets, ribbons and spares are quoted from one unit.
Accessories have no list price here because the right part depends on the equipment it joins. Send a requirement with the reader, antenna, printer or card model and the quantities, or add the main product to your quote list and mention the accessories in the note. Catalogue prices for readers, tags, labels and cards are on the RFID price list.
