People & access
An RFID access and attendance setup has three parts: the credential each person carries, the reader at each door or gate, and the desk where cards are enrolled. The credential and the reader have to use the same frequency, so the card is the first thing to decide.
This page lists the cards, wristbands, door readers, attendance readers and gate readers from our catalogue that suit offices, factories and campuses. The software that turns taps into door permissions and attendance records is the RFID Access Control & Attendance System from Identium One.
Choose and print the credential
Pick HF (MIFARE) or LF (EM) cards to match your door readers, printed with logo, name and photo. Staff who cannot carry a card can wear an RFID wristband instead.
Enrol at HR
Encode or register each card on a desktop reader and link it to the employee record before it is handed over.
Fit door and attendance readers
Wall readers with Wiegand output connect to the door controller. A Wi-Fi or PoE reader sends each attendance tap to the server without a PC beside it.
Add walk-through gates where needed
For walk-through lanes and shift gates, UHF cards and a UHF gate reader log people as they pass and tell entries from exits.
Review and export
Door events and each person’s first and last read of the day feed attendance reports for HR and payroll.
Staff ID cards
CR80 cards printed with logo, name, photo and card number, with either an HF chip at 13.56 MHz or an LF chip at 125 kHz, chosen to suit your readers.
Door reader
The IDTS-QR-36 handles EM and MIFARE cards as well as QR visitor passes, fits a standard 86 box and outputs Wiegand 26/34, RS232 or RS485 to the access controller.
Network attendance reader
The IDTS-HRW560 connects over Wi-Fi or PoE and sends each tap to your server. Choose the HF or LF version at order to match your cards.
All HF RFID ReadersCard enrolment
The USB HF desktop reader-writer registers and encodes 13.56 MHz cards at the HR desk or reception. For 125 kHz LF cards, the plug-and-play IDTS-LFPPR USB reader reads card numbers into the PC.
Walk-through gate
IDTS-IDC62 UHF cards read at 1 to 5 m depending on the reader. Paired with the HLR200 gate reader, which reads up to 4 m and senses direction, they log staff without a tap.
Wristbands and lockers
The C07 adjustable wristband comes in LF, HF or UHF builds for staff who cannot carry a card. The ID-CL-01 cabinet lock accepts ID and MIFARE credentials, whether card, wristband or key fob, so one credential can cover lockers too.
The RFID Access Control & Attendance System from Identium One decides who may open which door and when, records every tap, and builds attendance from each person’s first and last read of the day, ready to export or pass to HR and payroll software. Door permissions can differ by role and by zone, and the event log shows who entered where. For setup details, integrations and a demo, see the RFID Access Control & Attendance System on IdentiumOne.
RFID access control and attendance software for offices and factories on IdentiumOneThey will if the chip matches. Door readers usually read either 125 kHz EM (LF) or 13.56 MHz MIFARE (HF) cards, so check yours first and order printed ID cards with the same chip. Our card printing guide covers eSSL and ZKTeco readers.
Yes. The IDTS-HRW560 network reader connects over Wi-Fi or PoE and sends each tap straight to your server.
For many sites it is. A card or wristband tap collects no fingerprint data, works with gloves on, and suits shared entrances. Our guide to the DPDP Rules and biometric attendance covers the privacy side.
UHF cards such as the IDTS-IDC62, paired with the HLR200 UHF gate reader, which reads up to 4 m and senses direction. HF and LF cards will not register at a UHF gate.
