An 80 mm on-metal UHF RFID bar tag for steel assets
The IDTS-8020 is the long, plain bar of this range: a black, cover-plate style PCB tag measuring 80 × 20 × 3 mm, with no LED or extra parts. It is meant to be bolted straight onto steel equipment and left there, then read at approx. 6 m on metal during audits and inspection rounds.
Fixing and fit
A 4 mm hole at each end, 74 mm apart, gives a wide two-point fixing. The 20 mm width runs along a cylinder neck ring, a motor or gearbox housing, a panel door or a rack upright, and at 3 mm thick the tag adds little depth to the surface it sits on.
Chip and environment
An Impinj Monza R6-P chip on ISO 18000-6C carries a 128-bit EPC for your asset number, a 96-bit factory TID and 32 bits of user memory. The −20 °C to +150 °C rating covers cold-store racking, substation equipment and warm machinery.
