A 30 mm on-metal RFID disc tag that fixes with one bolt

The other discs in this range, the IDTS-D33, D38 and D40, each fix through two screw holes. The IDTS-D30 has a single 7 mm hole through its centre, so one bolt, rivet or stud holds it in place; a 7 mm hole suits M6 hardware. That makes it quick to fit on assets that already carry a fastener you can reuse, such as a bracket bolt or panel screw, and on narrow or curved parts where two holes would not both land on solid metal.

Read range and build

Fixed directly to metal, the tag reads at approx. 3.8 m. That is enough for a person with a handheld reader to check equipment along an aisle or around a machine without reaching each item. The black PCB disc is 30 mm across and 4 mm at its highest point, and is rated −20 °C to +150 °C. Its U8 chip holds a 128-bit EPC for your asset number and a 96-bit TID.
