What the ID-RL7014 UHF RFID inlay is built for
Most UHF inlays are rated in free space, which flatters them. The ID-RL7014’s antenna is designed for the harder case: thin garments folded and stacked face to face, where ordinary inlays detune each other. It also tolerates nearby liquid and metal, though it is not an on-metal tag. One SKU covers softlines, footwear and accessories, and the same dense-stack behaviour suits tightly packed files and folders.
Performance in India’s 865–868 MHz band
Indicative figures from the manufacturer’s forward-range curve: about 6 m stacked face to face, 13.5 m on single-layer denim, 16 m on plastic and 3 m on liquid. On plastic and liquid it reads further in the India band than at 915 MHz. Trial it on your own goods, since reader power, antenna gain and packaging all change the result.

Printing and reader set-up
Print and encode the -L label on a thermal-transfer RFID printer, entering the 22.225 mm pitch during RFID calibration; a pitch mismatch is the usual cause of failed encodes. The antenna is a linear dipole, so use circularly polarised or crossed reader antennas where garments hang at random angles. State the frequency band you need when ordering.
