ID-RL7014 Retail UHF RFID Inlay & Label 70x14mm – Stacked Items, Garments, Metal & Liquid Tolerant | M830

The ID-RL7014 is a 70 × 14 mm passive UHF RFID inlay built for the jobs that defeat ordinary inlays: densely stacked items that detune against one another, goods sitting on or near liquid, and thin garments read in bulk. A single SKU covers softlines, footwear and accessories, and the same dense-stack behaviour carries over to other tightly packed items such as files and folders. It ships as a dry inlay, a wet (self-adhesive) inlay or a paper-face label ready for on-demand printing and encoding.

Why It Performs Where Others Don't

Most UHF inlays are characterised in free space, which flatters them. The ID-RL7014's antenna is designed for the opposite case — bulk reading of densely stacked, thin garments packed face to face, where ordinary inlays detune against one another — and it holds up near both metal and liquid. In India's 865–867 MHz band the inlay actually reads further on plastic and on liquid than it does in the FCC band, which is unusual and directly useful here.

Printing, Encoding & Deployment

• Print and encode: the paper-face variant (-L) is intended for thermal-transfer printing with inline RFID encoding, so barcode, price and EPC are committed in one pass
• Printer setup: confirm the 22.225 mm pitch when configuring the printer's RFID calibration — a pitch mismatch is the most common cause of failed encodes
• Reader antennas: the inlay is a linear dipole, so orientation matters. Where items hang or sit in unpredictable orientations, use crossed or circularly polarised reader antennas so the pattern nulls do not cost you reads
• Handling: store flat in the original packaging within the stated humidity range, and observe the shelf life
• Ordering: specify the required frequency band at order. Encoding, printing and custom artwork are available
