Overview
What the ID-UWB-C20 does
The ID-UWB-C20 is the badge people wear. It ranges to the nearby UWB anchors and the platform places the wearer to under 30 cm in unobstructed space, so you see who is in which aisle, bay or room, not just which building. A press of the SOS button raises an alarm with the wearer's exact position; the buzzer can call a person back or warn them, and motion detection flags a badge that has stopped moving.
Shift-ready
The 900 mAh battery recharges on a magnetic Type-C lead, and a 20-slot charging rack lets a whole shift dock their badges at the gate. Add NFC or RFID and the same card opens doors and logs attendance; an e-ink screen shows the wearer's name, and LoRa lets the badge carry short messages.
System notes
- The C20 only does UWB, so it works with wired anchors: ID-UWB-P30 indoors or ID-UWB-R40 in harsh areas.
- For wrist wear, or a tag clipped to a helmet, see the ID-UWB-W20 wristband.
- For a pedestrian-and-forklift warning, combine badges with the ID-UWB-X10 anti-collision unit on the truck; confirm the tag pairing with us.
The Ex iB IIC T4 Gb rating is under a Chinese certificate and does not include PESO approval.

How accurate is the ID-UWB-C20?
It is rated under 30 cm in unobstructed space with Identium UWB anchors. Racking and walls between badge and anchors reduce accuracy, so anchors are planned around the layout.
What happens when someone presses SOS?
The badge sends an SOS event with its position to the platform, which raises an alarm on the map and can notify supervisors.
Can the badge also work as an access card?
Yes, with the NFC / RFID option. Tell us your access-control card type when you ask for a quote.
Which anchors does it need?
Wired anchors: the ID-UWB-P30 indoors or the ID-UWB-R40 in harsh areas. It has no 4G of its own, so it does not work with battery anchors alone.
