Overview
A slim on-metal UHF RFID tag with long read range
The IDTS-7025 fits a lot of range into a narrow profile. It is a 70 × 25 mm white ABS bar, only 5 mm thick, with a built-in dual-folded antenna designed to work against metal. Mounted on steel it reads at around 8 m, so a handheld user can confirm a rack location or a cabinet from the aisle instead of reaching for each one.
Where the 25 mm width helps
Narrow fixing faces are common in warehouses and IT rooms: rack uprights, beam edges, panel door frames and cylinder collars. A 25 mm bar fits these without covering existing labels or vents, and the white body is easy to spot on dark equipment during a manual check.
Fixing and encoding
- Screws: two 4 mm holes, one at each end, where the tag must stay put.
- Adhesive: a peel-off double-sided tape underneath, for surfaces you cannot drill.
