Overview
What the IDTS-RH30 UHF RFID bolt tag does
Some identification points are not assets you carry around but places you keep returning to: a machine frame, a fixture, a valve chamber, a marker set into the ground. The IDTS-RH30 gives such points a permanent UHF ID. Its 30 mm hexagonal head sits on an M5/M6 threaded stud, so it screws into a tapped hole like an ordinary bolt and does not depend on adhesive or cable ties.
Where it fits best
- Machine frames, jigs and press tooling with a tapped M5 or M6 hole
- Paint, powder-coating and curing lines working within −40 °C to +200 °C
- Road-stud and ground markers used for utility and civic asset mapping
- Inspection checkpoints in railway depots and valve chambers scanned on walking rounds
Size, range and data
The head is 7 mm thick and the tag is 25 mm tall overall, so it adds little to the mounting point. The rated read distance is about 3 m depending on the reader, which suits scans with a UHF handheld reader on an inspection round. The NXP UCODE 8 chip on ISO 18000-6C holds your location or asset number in a 128-bit EPC bank alongside a 96-bit factory TID.
Choosing a stud-mount tag
The RH30 is the compact, fixed-thread option. If you need a larger disc with the thread chosen to order, compare the IDTS-D50 50 mm stud tag; other screw-fixed formats are listed under RFID PCB and ceramic tags.
Typical applications
- Machine frames
- Jigs and fixtures
- Paint and powder-coat lines
- Road and ground markers
- Valve chambers
- Trackside checkpoints
