Overview
A four-hole anti-metal RFID asset tag for machinery
The IDTS-7545 is a mechanically fixed asset tag: a 75 × 45 mm light grey ABS housing, 6 mm thick, with a 3.3 mm hole in each corner. Fixed directly onto metal it reads at around 5 m, enough for a technician to scan a motor, pump or panel from a normal working distance during a maintenance round.
A drilling pattern you can standardise
The hole centres are 65 mm apart along the length and 35 mm across the width. With one fixed pattern, a maintenance team can make a single drilling template and fit a whole fleet of assets the same way. Fixing at four points also holds the tag square on equipment that vibrates. The larger face leaves room for a printed asset number if you order custom printing.
Data and readers
The NXP UCODE 9 (U9XE) chip holds a 128-bit EPC for your asset code and a 96-bit factory TID that is unique to each tag, which helps when an audit must confirm the physical tag as well as the number. It reads on standard UHF handhelds and fixed readers. For a full rollout, see our RFID asset management solution or the guide to choosing on-metal RFID tags.
Typical applications
- Motors and pumps
