IHZ4 RJ45 vs Wi-Fi vs PoE: choosing the 4-port reader connection
These are the same E710-based 4-port fixed reader, with the same 0–33 dBm output, up to 1,000 tags/s and four SMA antenna ports; they differ in how they connect and are powered. The standard IHZ4 lists RJ45, RS-232, RS-485, Wiegand and USB 2.0. The Wi-Fi model lists Wi-Fi, RJ45, RS-232 and USB 2.0. The PoE model takes its power over the Ethernet cable (RJ45 with PoE), also lists RS-232, RS-485, Wiegand and USB 2.0, and has an 8-port SMA option.
