  The concerned lessees of Iron ore & Chromite mines are hereby informed that RFID based tagging of sampling bags shall become mandatory w.e.f 15.06.2023. Simultaneously, the QR code-based tagging shall be de-activated and become void. Concerned lessees are therefore advised to take appropriate measures at their end and ensure adoption of RFID Tagging for Sampling-bags. This follows as per the Operational guidelines for Stacking, Sampling & Chemical Analysis issued under OMPTS (Amendment) Rules, 2021 dtd. 28.04.2021 & 07.03.2022.
