Overview
How the IDTS-LWB15R remote controlled LED wristband works at an event
Guests wear the bands while the operator runs the show from the IDTS-LWC10 controller. The crowd is split into 10 zones: pick a zone, choose one of 15 colours and an effect such as strobe, fading or rainbow, and every band in that zone changes together, building colour blocks and waves across a stand.
Feed music into the controller's audio input and the bands flash on the beat. Connect a DMX512 console to the controller's DMX in and the set-up works as a DMX LED wristband system: the bands follow the same show cues as the stage lights (10 zones, 40 DMX channels).
Planning LED wristbands for your event
The silicone band comes in two sizes, adult at about 72 × 48 mm and children's at about 72 × 32 mm, so count both groups for a school annual day or family wedding. The battery cover is held by a security screw: bands handed out at the gate stay sealed, and your crew can open them afterwards to fit fresh cells for the next event.
Silicone IDTS-LWB15R, hook-and-loop IDTS-LWB52 or sound-activated IDTS-LWB15S?
Choose the IDTS-LWB15R when you want the whole translucent silicone band to glow in the zone colour. Choose the IDTS-LWB52 for one adjustable hook-and-loop strap that fits adults and children, a logo engraved on the strap, or its sound-activated and button modes when there is no controller; it takes the same controller commands. For a party where a controller is not worth it, the IDTS-LWB15S reacts to music and voices on its own, without zones or DMX. All models are listed under LED wristbands.

Frequently asked questions
Which controller does the IDTS-LWB15R work with?
The bands are controlled from the IDTS-LWC10 controller, used on its own or under a DMX512 console. Order the two together so they are on the same frequency: 433 MHz as standard, or the 2.4 GHz version on request, which adds Bluetooth / phone-app control. How many zones are there, and how is zone allocation handled?
There are 10 zones, each controlled independently from the controller's zone buttons or through DMX, so different blocks of the crowd can show different colours or a wave. Zone allocation is agreed with us before the event; share your venue layout with your enquiry.
How long do the batteries last, and can they be changed?
Plan on 4–6 hours of continuous lighting from the two CR2032 coin cells; up to 8–10 hours is possible depending on the flashing mode, and standby lasts up to 6 days. The cells sit in an openable compartment with a security screw on the cover, so your team can replace them and reuse the bands while guests cannot remove them. Bands ship with cells fitted and an insulating pull-tab so they do not drain in transit.
Can our logo be printed on the wristband?
Yes. The logo is printed in full colour on the housing, on an area of about 36 × 30 mm, and band colour options are available. Send your artwork and the adult/children's split with your enquiry.
Can the same band also be used for entry or cashless payments?
Yes. On request an RFID/NFC chip is built into the wristband, so guests use one band for the light show and for entry or cashless at the event; see RFID event management for how those systems work.
