Overview
What the stainless steel NFC metal card does
The ID-NFC-MCARD is a business card cut from stainless steel and fitted with an NXP NTAG213 or NTAG215 chip. You hand it over like a paper visiting card; the other person taps it on an NFC phone and the screen opens whatever you stored: a vCard, your website, a LinkedIn profile or a portfolio page, with no app needed.

With NTAG213 (144 bytes), the usual setup is one link to a profile page you control; edit the page and every card already handed out shows the new details. NTAG215 (504 bytes) leaves room for a fuller contact card stored on the chip itself, which the phone can open without an internet connection.
Engraving, encoding and team orders
Laser engraving marks the steel permanently, so engrave what will not change, such as your name and company logo, and keep details that do change, like a phone number or designation, on the chip. Because the card is rewritable, a phone NFC app is enough to update it later. For cards given away at events, the record can be locked once final so nobody else overwrites it.
For a sales team or gifting order, send each person's name, the logo and the link or contact details with your quote request so every card is engraved and encoded individually.
To read the card, hold it flat against the back of the phone, near the top, rather than swiping it past.
