About the RFID 4444 Qstar
The RFID 4444 Qstar is a 44x44mm square UHF inlay on the Qstar chip, offered plain or converted into a printed label for cartons, apparel and inventory. The square shape makes this 4444 Qstar RFID label forgiving about orientation: applied upright, sideways or rotated, it still presents the antenna to the reader, which is why it suits mixed-goods warehouses where nobody controls how boxes are stacked. It is rated at up to 7 m depending on antenna and environment, follows EPC Gen2 / ISO 18000-6C, and is manufactured in India for the 865-868 MHz Indian band and the ETSI 865-868 MHz band. The flexible, thin substrate works with all standard UHF RFID readers and printers.

Best-fit applications
- Mixed-SKU carton labelling in e-commerce fulfilment centres with random box orientation
- Apparel master-carton labels for exporters consolidating goods for EU and UK buyers
- Inventory labels on drums, crates and tubs in chemical and paint distribution
- Square labels on filing boxes and archive cartons in records-management facilities
- Kit and consignment tracking for hospital central supply and pharmacy stores
- Identification of returnable crates in fruit and vegetable supply chains
Mounting, encoding and reading notes
Being square, the ID-4444 can go on in any rotation, but it must stay flat and on a non-metal face; drums and metal crates call for a foam spacer or a dedicated on-metal tag. Write the EPC using an RFID printer or a desktop reader, and if the finished label also carries a barcode, keep the barcode clear of the inlay area so a scanner window never creases the antenna. For roll-form supply, agree liner and pitch with your label applicator up front and run a short test lot before the full production run.
