About the 2040-M800/M700 UHF Inlay/Flag Label/Sticker
A flag label is folded so that part of it stands proud of the item, letting the antenna work on products that would smother a flat tag. The 2040-M800/M700 UHF Inlay/Flag Label/Sticker (model ID-2040-M800) applies that construction to Identium's 2040 antenna with Impinj M800 or M700 silicon, producing a compact tag for bottles, cans, cookware, tools and small electronics. Rated at up to 7 m depending on antenna and environment, it is also sold flat as a plain inlay or sticker for ordinary packaging. Operation spans the 860–960 MHz global UHF range, centred on the 865-868 MHz India allocation and compatible with ETSI 865-868 MHz readers.

Mounting, encoding and reading notes
Wrap the adhesive base around the neck or edge of the item and leave the flag section carrying the antenna standing free of the surface; that air gap is the whole reason the tag still reads on metal and liquid. Pressing the flag flat onto a can or bottle undoes it. Print and write the label before folding, with the printer's inlay position set for this construction. On flat, non-metallic packs the same product can simply be applied as a conventional sticker.
Why buy from Identium
Flag tags fail more often from folding and placement than from the tag itself, so we supply them folded to your specification with placement guidance for your particular bottle, can or tool, and will run a read trial on samples you send us. Manufacturing is in India, printed faces and encoding are done under one roof, and volume or OEM quantities are quoted on request. Frequently asked questions
What is a UHF RFID flag label like the ID-2040-M800 used for?
The ID-2040-M800 is a UHF RFID flag label used for inventory management, asset tracking and supply chain visibility. Its flexible thin substrate suits both flat and curved surfaces, which makes it practical for warehouse logistics, retail and manufacturing applications across India. It works with standard UHF RFID readers and printers.
What is the read range of the ID-2040-M800 flag label?
The ID-2040-M800 UHF RFID flag label reads at up to 7 metres using the M800 chip platform. Range depends on the reader antenna, transmit power, label orientation and the material it is fixed to. It operates across 860-960 MHz, covering the Indian 865-868 MHz UHF band.
Does the ID-2040-M800 label read correctly on metal items?
No, the ID-2040-M800 is a standard UHF RFID label and will not read reliably when stuck directly onto metal or onto liquid-filled containers. On-metal UHF tags are needed for metal assets. For cables, cartons, plastics and other non-metallic items in India, the flag label performs as designed.
Can I buy ID-2040-M800 flag labels in bulk in India?
Yes, ID-2040-M800 UHF RFID flag labels are supplied in bulk rolls with custom printing and pre-encoding on request. India RFID Store is a BIS and WPC certified Indian manufacturer offering OEM pricing, samples and pan-India shipping, so volume orders can be quoted directly instead of imported.
