RFID 1790 Label

RFID 1790 Label
RFID 1790 Label

The ID-1790 is a high-performance UHF RFID inlay engineered for inventory management, asset tracking, and supply chain visibility applications. Built on the UHF chip platform, it delivers reliable read ranges of up to 6 m in demanding real-world environments.

Key Features:

  • Compact form factor
  • UHF chip — optimised for long-range performance and fast inventory cycles
  • Frequency: 860–960 MHz (global UHF RFID standard)
  • Read range: up to 6 metres (depending on antenna and environment)
  • Flexible, thin substrate suitable for flat and curved surface application
  • RoHS-compliant materials; suitable for high-volume industrial deployment

The ID-1790 is compatible with all standard UHF RFID readers and printers. Ideal for warehouse logistics, retail, manufacturing, and field asset management where high-throughput scanning and durability matter.

About the RFID 1790 Label

The RFID 1790 Label (model ID-1790) is Identium's workhorse printable roll for retail and logistics tagging, where every label has to carry a barcode, product text and an encoded number in one pass. The antenna sits on a flexible, thin substrate that sticks reliably to cartons, poly-bags, plastic totes and paper tags, and returns a read range of up to 6 m depending on the reader antenna and environment. Coverage is the 860–960 MHz global UHF band including the 865-868 MHz India allocation, so the same roll reads on ETSI 865-868 MHz equipment overseas. Chip and roll details are listed on the datasheet; confirm them with us against your printer model.

Best-fit applications

  • Supermarket and grocery distribution centres printing carton labels at receiving
  • Courier and express hubs applying encoded shipping labels for automated sortation
  • Garment factories printing size, colour and serial number on a single hang tag
  • Cold-storage operators labelling crates that move between chambers and trucks
  • Furniture and home-decor retailers tagging boxed goods for showroom transfers

Mounting, encoding and reading notes

Set label pitch and inlay offset from the datasheet, print a short test batch and verify every number with a handheld before committing a full roll. Apply to a flat face of the carton rather than over tape seams or box corners. Metal drums and filled liquid containers will kill the read unless the label is raised on a foam standoff. For dock-door work, standardise on the carton face that presents itself to the portal antennas as the pallet rolls through.

Why buy from Identium

Because the roll is converted in India, the problems that usually come with imported stock — mismatched cores, wrong web direction, labels that jam one particular printer — get solved with a phone call rather than a container. We pre-print artwork, write your numbering scheme and quote volume or OEM terms, and free sample rolls are sent for printer trials. Pair it with an RFID printer from our range, and see our warehouse inventory management guide for India.

Frequently asked questions

What is the price of the ID-1790 UHF RFID label in India?

Pricing for the ID-1790 UHF RFID label in India depends on order quantity and on whether custom printing or pre-encoding is needed. Check the price listed on this page for standard packs, or request a bulk quote from India RFID Store. Identium is an Indian manufacturer, so direct volume and OEM rates are available.

What is the read range of the ID-1790 RFID inlay?

The ID-1790 UHF RFID inlay reads at up to 6 metres in real-world conditions. Actual range in an Indian warehouse depends on the reader antenna, transmit power, tag orientation and the surface the label is applied to. It operates across 860-960 MHz, which covers the Indian UHF band of 865-868 MHz.

Does the ID-1790 RFID label work on metal surfaces?

No, the ID-1790 is a standard UHF RFID label and does not read reliably when applied directly to metal or to liquid-filled containers. Metal assets need a purpose-built on-metal UHF tag. On cartons, plastic bins and other non-metallic items in Indian warehouses, the label performs as designed.

Can I order ID-1790 RFID labels in bulk with custom printing?

Yes, ID-1790 UHF RFID labels are available in bulk with custom printing and pre-encoded EPC data. India RFID Store, run by Identium, is a BIS and WPC certified Indian manufacturer and supports OEM orders, sample requests and pan-India shipping. The labels also print on standard RFID label printers.
