RFID Race Timing Services

What the RFID race timing service includes

Book this service and you do not need to buy any timing hardware. The package covers automatic race timing with the complete system, numbered bibs with RFID tags, and the antennas, readers and other machinery needed at your timing points. Tags are encoded and matched to bib numbers before the bibs are handed over.

How per-participant charging works

The service is charged per head. Your timing cost is calculated from the number of registered participants, not from a hardware invoice for equipment you might use two or three times a year. Send your expected field size and the number of timing points for an event quote.

Brief your participants

RFID timing is only as good as the bib on the runner. Ask participants to:

• wear the bib on the chest, with the tag on the reverse;
• pin through the corners only, never through the tag;
• keep the bib unfolded and outside any jacket or hydration vest.
