Overview

IDTS-NET30 is a stick-on NFC epoxy tag: a 30 mm round PVC disc printed in full colour, sealed under an epoxy dome and backed with peel-off adhesive. It works at 13.56 MHz (HF/NFC) to ISO/IEC 14443A. Other sizes are made to order, and the NFC chip type is confirmed with your order. Minimum order 500 pcs, price on request.

Placing an adhesive NFC epoxy sticker

Press it onto a clean, flat surface: a phone case, a laptop lid, a shop counter or a display stand. When an NFC phone touches the dome, it opens the link stored on the chip: your social media page or website. On your own phone case, it lets the people you meet tap your phone to get your profile.

The epoxy face is waterproof and weatherproof; how well the backing holds depends on the surface, so test samples first. Metal behind the tag, such as an aluminium laptop lid, can block the tap, so use plastic, glass or wood.

Artwork, links and door access

Your logo, brand colours and a “Tap to follow us” line are printed in full colour across the 30 mm face. Load your link using an NFC phone app, for example Identium NFC, our free Android app; see reading and writing NFC tags on Android and iPhone. Door systems enrol each tag’s fixed unique ID (UID) against a person if the 13.56 MHz reader supports the chip fitted, so name the reader model in your enquiry.

To choose the chip yourself (NTAG213, NTAG215 or NTAG216), see the NFC Epoxy Tag IDNE30; for a keyring or lanyard tag, see the EC025 epoxy tag on a string.

Frequently asked questions

What surfaces can I stick the IDTS-NET30 on?
Clean, dry, flat surfaces such as phone cases, plastic laptop lids, plastic panels, glass and wooden or laminate counters. Metal is the exception, including aluminium laptop lids and steel counters: a standard NFC tag fixed straight onto metal will not read reliably. The tag is waterproof and weatherproof, but adhesion varies by surface, so test samples where it will be fixed.
Which NFC chip does the tag use?
The chip type is confirmed with your order. Tell us how the tag will be read: NFC phones read NTAG-type chips directly, while door readers are often set up for one chip family, so name your phones or reader model and the chip will be checked against them before you order.
Can you print our logo, and how do we put our link on the tags?
The face is printed in full colour with your artwork, for example your logo with a “Tap to follow us” line; attach the design file to your enquiry. Your link or profile can then be written to each tag with an NFC phone app, for example Identium NFC (free on Android), which can also program tags in bulk.
Will it work with our door access reader?
It depends on the reader and the chip fitted. Each tag has a fixed unique ID (UID) that a 13.56 MHz ISO/IEC 14443A access reader can enrol if it supports that chip, so name your reader model in the enquiry and the chip type will be confirmed against it before you order.
Can we order another size, and how many must we buy?
30 mm round is the standard size; customised sizes are made to order. The minimum order is 500 pcs (price on request).
