Overview
An industrial printer that encodes as it prints
The iX4RT prints a label and writes its UHF RFID chip in the same pass, then verifies the write, so every label leaving the printer carries matching print and EPC data. A metal frame, built-in power supply and 4.3-inch touch screen make it a printer for production lines and busy labelling stations rather than an office desk.
Choose the resolution for your labels
- 203 dpi: carton, pallet and warehouse labels at up to 8 ips, and the longest print length (4,000 mm).
- 300 dpi: sharper text and small barcodes at the same 8 ips.
- 600 dpi: very small labels, fine 2D codes and jewellery or electronics tags, at up to 3 ips.
On-metal labels and short tags
Both media sensors move, so the printer finds labels with gaps, perforations or black marks, and locates labels as short as 4 mm. It handles flexible on-metal labels as well as standard UHF labels and plain labels, which suits asset tagging with on-metal RFID tags. A graphical calibration tool shows where the tag sits and the strength of the RFID signal, and media calibration takes one touch.
Software and integration
Labelsoft designs labels, pulls data from your files and prints and encodes them, and the printer can be used without installing a driver. Developers can call it from their own software with SDKs for VC, C#, Java and HTML5. For lighter volumes, compare the IT4RL desktop RFID printer, or the iX4R industrial printer for speeds up to 14 ips.
