Overview
What the IDTS-TT10 RFID tyre tag does
A fleet tyre is fitted, rotated, inspected, sometimes retreaded and finally scrapped, often across several depots. Moulded serials are hard to read on a dirty or worn tyre, so records drift. The TT10 is a UHF patch that gives each tyre a unique serial number, letting a reader confirm the exact tyre at fitment, inspection and issue without anyone deciphering the sidewall.
Made to stay with one tyre
- Flexible construction. The tyre-rubber patch is built to flex with the tyre as it deforms over its life.
- Non-transferable. The tag cannot be removed without being destroyed, so it cannot be moved to another tyre.
- Tamper-evident option. Slits in the label and adhesive layers show any attempt to peel it off.
- Protected data. User memory is password protected and can hold encrypted data.
Ready for your issuing process
Tags can be supplied with production data and delivery forms that fit your tyre issuing procedure, and each carries a unique serial number for automated processing. Logo, colour and serial numbering can be customised. Read distance depends on the reader; a UHF handheld reader suits checks in a tyre bay or store.
