Overview
What the CX806T UHF RFID industrial tablet does
The CX806T puts a UHF RFID reader inside an Android 12 tablet. Operators read tags and work in the business app on the same device, which helps when the job involves more than a count: reviewing a delivery list, matching tools against a job card, or closing a work order for the item that was just read.
The reader is built on the Impinj E710 chip and reads UHF tags at up to 25 m. An MTK octa-core 2.0 GHz processor runs the apps, and 4G sends data back from sites that have no local network.
Why the reader chip matters
The Impinj E710 is a reader chip from one of the main UHF RFID chip makers, and the same family is used in handheld and fixed readers across the industry. For a buyer, the practical point is a known reader engine designed for EPC Gen2 tags, rather than an unbranded module.
UHF plus optional NFC
UHF covers the long-range work: sweeping racks, counting bins or checking a loaded consignment. With the optional NFC module, the same tablet can also read close-range 13.56 MHz tags and cards, such as an operator's ID card or an NFC tag at an inspection point. Mention NFC when you request a quote if you need it.
Where it is used
- Warehouses: stock counts and put-away checks.
- Logistics: verifying tagged consignments at dispatch and receipt.
- Waste management: confirming which tagged bins were collected.
- Tool tracking: issuing and returning tagged tools from a crib.
For metal tools and equipment, pair it with on-metal RFID tags.
Software and compliance
A free SDK and demonstration application are provided, so your team or integrator can build a dedicated app. The over-moulded body keeps the tablet sleek and light enough for handheld use. The CX806T is BIS-registered. Compare it with phone-sized models in our RFID handheld readers range, or read our guide to RFID for warehouse inventory in India.
