Overview

What the CX111T UHF RFID smart tray does

The CX111T is a rectangular UHF RFID smart tray measuring 338 × 248 × 28 mm. Its larger rectangular surface suits laying out a jewellery display, a row of boxed items or a stack of tagged files, and at 28 mm deep it is slim enough to build into counter furniture. Inside, an Impinj E310 reader chip reads up to 250 tags per second, so everything laid on the tray is accounted for in one pass.

Accurate counts at a busy counter

A short-range, near-field antenna limits reading to tags inside the tray area; items on the next tray or the shelf behind are left out of the count. If the zone needs fine-tuning, RF output is adjustable from 0 to 30 dBm. A red LED shows power, and a green LED with a buzzer tells staff each read has registered.

Connections and power

The standard CX111T configuration has PoE, RS232 and USB, three relay outputs and on-board storage for 1,000 tags. Wiegand 26 is available, and Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are optional. The tray can be powered over PoE, from a 9–24 V DC supply, or from USB at 5 V, and works between -10 °C and +55 °C. The aluminium die-cast body weighs 1.3 kg.

Typical uses

  • Jewellery showrooms: real-time stock visibility for each display tray, with pieces carrying RFID jewellery tags.
  • Retail point of sale: quick, accurate checkout of high-value items.
  • Inventory audits: rapid scans of items at a desk or workstation.
  • Office asset tracking: keeping tabs on documents or tools.

CX111T or CX110T?

Both trays use the Impinj E310 chip and offer the same connection options. Choose the CX111T for its larger rectangular surface and slimmer profile; choose the square 260 × 260 mm CX110T where counter space is tighter. Our jewellery RFID guide explains how trays fit into a showroom stock process.
