ID-6826-U9 UHF RFID jewellery inlay label for showroom counts

The ID-6826-U9 is a 68 × 26 mm UHF RFID label for tagging individual jewellery pieces. Each label carries its own EPC number on an NXP UCODE 8 or UCODE 9 chip, linked to the piece's record in your jewellery software. The longer face gives room to print the item code, gross and net weight and purity, so one label can replace the paper price tag.

Attaching the label

Like other jewellery RFID labels, it hangs from or loops around the piece rather than being pasted flat on gold or silver, because metal detunes a standard UHF inlay. Keep the inlay part of the label clear of the metal and avoid folding it across the antenna.

Counting trays with a 3 m label

The listed read range is up to 3 m, which covers a full tray at the counter or a showcase scanned from the staff side. A UHF handheld passed over the tray reads every tagged piece in one sweep, and missing items show up against the expected list.
