Overview
What the ID-1470 H10 UHF RFID logistics label does
The ID-1470 is a long, narrow UHF RFID label made for the shipping side of a warehouse. Its 14 × 70 mm format sits comfortably on a standard shipping label, so one label can carry the barcode, the human-readable text and an RFID chip. The Alien Higgs H10 chip answers any EPC Gen2 reader, and the label is rated for up to 8 m in free air.
Where it fits in a logistics flow
- Outbound cartons: tag at packing, then verify the whole load at the dock door without scanning each box by hand.
- Pallets and returnable containers: fix the label on a pallet leg or container side so a portal reader catches it as the forklift passes.
- Automotive and electronics parts: a unique number on each pack lets every scan point record where it has been.
- Pharma cartons: the −25 °C to +85 °C rating covers chilled stores as well as hot loading bays.
Free-air range falls once the label is on a densely packed carton, near liquids or on metal, so set reader positions after a test on your own packs. Our guide to RFID in Indian logistics and supply chains covers dock-door and pallet set-ups.
Encoding and printing
The labels can be supplied with GS1 SGTIN-96 or your own EPC numbering already written. To print and encode on site, use a UHF-capable RFID label printer so the barcode and the chip carry the same reference. Other sizes are in the UHF RFID inlays and labels range.
