Slim RFID locker lock for narrow gym doors

Locker doors in gyms, schools and colleges often leave only a narrow strip for the lock beside the door edge. The ID-CL-EM128 is shaped for that strip. Its tall, thin 150 × 37 × 16 mm zinc alloy body fits narrow panels that have no room for a wider faceplate.

Members hold a 125 kHz ID card, a 13.56 MHz IC card or a compatible RFID wristband to the lock to close or open the locker. Reception does not hand out keys, so there is nothing to collect at closing time.

Using the membership card as the locker key

If your gym, club or campus already issues RFID cards for entry or attendance, the same card can often work as the locker credential, as long as the locks are supplied for that frequency. Check whether your cards are 125 kHz (LF, ID/EM) or 13.56 MHz (HF, IC) before ordering. For members who train without a card, an adjustable silicone RFID wristband stays on through the shower and pool area.

Planning a full changing room

• Measure the door: the cutout and door thickness must suit the 150 × 37 × 16 mm body.
• Choose one finish: silver or golden is fixed at the time of order, so decide on one for the whole locker bank.
• Schedule battery checks: the lock runs on replaceable DC 6V batteries. Regular checks prevent a flat lock on a busy morning.
• Use one frequency per site: keep all cards and wristbands on the same frequency, so reception does not have to stock two kinds.
