Many fixed-asset tagging projects end up with two labels on every machine: a printed plate for people and an RFID tag for the reader. The ID-65X35 combines them. Its 65 × 35 mm face carries the asset number, barcode, department and logo, and the UHF chip underneath holds the same identity, readable on metal at up to 6 m.

Printing and placement

Lay out the plate once and print the whole register on an RFID printer that encodes as it prints, or order the labels pre-printed and pre-encoded. Apply to clean, flat metal away from hinges, louvres and earthing straps, pressing evenly across the whole label rather than just the corners. On tall equipment, fix it at about chest height so auditors never reach across live gear.
