Overview
Washable woven fabric UHF RFID laundry tag
The ID-FLT-UFLT wraps a UHF RFID chip in a woven textile body, so it behaves like a garment label rather than a hard tag. It is rated for multiple industrial wash cycles, including high-pressure spinning and steam ironing, and its thin, soft construction sits inside a collar, waistband or hem, unnoticed by the wearer and gentle on delicate fabric.
Sewn in or looped on
The tag has a small hole, which gives two ways to fix it:
- Sewn: stitch through the fabric border into a hem or collar band. Keep the needle off the chip area and let the tag lie flat so a press does not crease it.
- Looped: thread tape or a strap through the hole, an option for rental items such as costumes, safety wear and event uniforms.
Encoding and reading
Encode each tag on a UHF desktop reader before it reaches the sewing table, and record the item number against the garment. In tunnel and trolley reads, keep bundles loose so tags in the middle of a stack are still seen. Chip options can be discussed for bulk orders.
