Overview

ID-L3535 UHF + NFC sew-in laundry tag

Most laundry tags are long, narrow strips. The ID-L3535 is a 35 × 35 mm square, which suits the corner of a towel, a napkin or a label patch inside a uniform where a long strip will not lie flat. It is sewn in, and its thin, flexible substrate follows the curve of the fabric.

Two ways to read one item

UHF for volume

Quanray Qstar 6S chip, 860–960 MHz, reads at up to 7 m. Count a trolley or sorting bin with a handheld or fixed UHF reader.

NFC for single checks

13.56 MHz, read at close range with an NFC phone. Staff can check one garment at an issue counter or during an audit without a UHF reader.

If your phone app expects a particular NFC chip or memory size, ask us to confirm it before ordering. The NFC vs RFID guide explains how the two interfaces differ.

Where it fits

Use it where an item must be counted in bulk at the laundry and verified individually by staff, such as uniforms, rental garments or high-value linen. If you only need UHF, the narrower sew-in and iron-on tags in our laundry tag range are an alternative.

Typical applications

  • Staff uniforms
  • Towels and bed linen
  • Rental garments
  • Laundry sorting
  • Issue counter checks

Frequently asked questions

What is the read range of the ID-L3535?
Up to 7 m on the UHF side, depending on the reader antenna and environment. Dense stacks of linen and nearby metal shorten it. The NFC side is read at close range, typically a few centimetres.
Does this laundry tag support NFC as well as UHF?
Yes, it is a combined UHF + NFC laundry tag. UHF (860–960 MHz, Quanray Qstar 6S) handles long-range bulk reading, while NFC (13.56 MHz) lets a phone or HF handheld check a single item.
How is it attached?
It is sewn into a hem, seam or label patch. The flexible 35 × 35 mm substrate lies flat on fabric and follows curved surfaces.
Does it work with UHF readers used in India?
Yes. The UHF chip works across 860–960 MHz, which includes India's licence-exempt 865–868 MHz band, so any EPC Gen2 reader set to that band can read it.
