SLT62 silicone UHF laundry tag for towels and linen
The SLT62 encloses a UHF inlay in a flexible silicone body measuring 85 × 25 × 3 mm. Silicone keeps water out and flexes with the fabric, so the tag copes with tumbling, 60 bar water extraction and drying at 85 °C for up to an hour or 120 °C for up to 30 minutes. It is rated for 200 wash or dry-cleaning cycles, or three years, whichever comes first.
Long read range for trolleys and bags
A fast-response antenna design and a high-sensitivity Alien Higgs 3 chip give a read distance of up to 10 m, depending on the reader. That helps when counting a full linen trolley or a closed laundry bag without unloading it. The chip also has 512 bits of user memory, enough to hold a short record such as a department or client code alongside the EPC.
Colour coding and fitting
Blue, white, black and red are standard, and other colours can be made, which lets a laundry separate clients, floors or item types at a glance. The tag can be sewn on or inserted into the item.
