Overview

UFLT-5610 slim UHF laundry tag for high-temperature finishing

At 55 × 10 mm, the UFLT-5610 is narrow enough to sit inside a hem, a towel border or a pillowcase seam without showing. It is a flexible textile tag with an aluminium-etched antenna on PET and an NXP UCODE 8 chip, sealed to IP68. It is rated for more than 200 washes and tolerates 200 °C ironing for 10 seconds, so it can stay on items that are pressed after every wash.

Memory and security

The chip has a 128-bit rewritable EPC for your item number and a 96-bit factory TID that cannot be changed, so each piece keeps a unique identity even if the EPC is rewritten. A 32-bit access password can lock the EPC against accidental overwrites. There is no user memory: wash counts and ownership are kept in your software against the EPC.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the UFLT-5610 suited to high-temperature laundry?
It tolerates 200 °C ironing for 10 seconds, is sealed to IP68 and is rated for more than 200 washes, so it survives pressing and ironing as well as washing.
What is the read range?
Up to 7 m with a UHF reader. The tag works across 860–960 MHz, which includes India's 865–868 MHz band. Wet, folded or tightly packed linen reads shorter.
Can I write my own numbers to the tag?
Yes. The 128-bit EPC is rewritable, rated for 100,000 writes, and can be locked with the 32-bit access password. The 96-bit TID is fixed at the factory. Pre-encoding can also be requested with your quote.
How is it attached?
It is sewn on. Colours other than white, and punched holes for stitching or fixing, can be made on request.
