ID-SLT-5512 silicone UHF RFID laundry tag for harsh wash cycles
The ID-SLT-5512 seals a flexible printed circuit (FPC) inlay inside silicone. That construction is what lets it handle a commercial laundry: it is rated for up to 200 industrial wash cycles, high-pressure (60 bar) tunnel washers, high-temperature drying and autoclave sterilisation. At 55 × 12 × 2.5 mm and 2.1 g, it is small and soft enough not to damage delicate fabric.
Built for healthcare textiles
Hospitals add two items to the usual laundry checklist. This tag is non-magnetic and rated MRI safe for 1.5 T and 3.0 T scanners, so tagged scrubs and patient gowns can be used in imaging areas, and it tolerates the autoclave cycles used for sterile textiles. Silicone (this tag)
Sealed body with a stated 200-cycle rating. Best where linen sees high-pressure tunnel washing, hot drying or sterilisation.
Woven fabric tag
Softer and label-like, such as the ID-FLT-UFLT. Suits garments where comfort against the skin matters most.
The 6 m read range was rated on textiles at 4 W EIRP in the 902–928 MHz band. On India's 865–868 MHz band, actual range depends on reader power, antenna and how densely linen is stacked. Bulk orders can be pre-encoded, with UCODE 8, UCODE 9 or other ICs on request.
