Overview
What the E01 elastic RFID wristband is for
The E01 is a woven elastic band with an RFID chip built in. The fabric stretches over the hand and sits comfortably whatever the wrist size, and the band is made to be worn again and again. That makes it the reusable option in our disposable RFID wristbands range, suited to gym and club memberships, season passes, resort stays and staff access, where the same person comes back many times.
Choosing a length
Three lengths are made, all 25 mm wide and 1.5 mm thick: 145 mm, 160 mm and 185 mm. The stretch covers a range of wrists within each length. If your members range from children to adults, order a mix: the shortest length for small wrists and the longest for large ones.
Chip, printing and encoding
Choose the chip to suit the readers you already run. LF and HF bands are read with a tap at a turnstile, locker or counter, while UHF bands can be picked up from further away at an entry gate. The RFID frequency guide explains the trade-offs.
Both faces take colour printing, and each band can carry a laser-printed number or chip UID and a QR code, with the chip encoded to your data. With an IP68 rating and a −35 °C to +75 °C working range, the E01 can be worn in pools, showers and at outdoor venues.
