What the EC025 mobile NFC epoxy tag is for
The EC025 is a small round NFC tag with a string attached, made to travel with its owner: tied to a phone, a keychain or a lanyard. Inside is an NTAG213 chip working at 13.56 MHz, so an NFC-enabled smartphone that touches it opens whatever the tag holds, such as an Instagram or LinkedIn profile, a website or a WhatsApp chat link.
30 mm or 35 mm
Both sizes share the same chip, PVC body, epoxy finish and string. The 30 mm tag makes the more discreet phone charm, while the 35 mm face leaves more room for a logo and a short prompt such as “Tap to connect”. Artwork is offset printed, so the tag also works as a branded giveaway.
Programming and access control
NTAG213 has 144 bytes of user memory, enough for one link or a short contact record. You can write it with a free NFC app on an Android phone or iPhone, then lock it so nobody can overwrite it. For access control, the tag’s unique ID can be enrolled on a 13.56 MHz reader that accepts NTAG tags.
