Overview
A waterproof dual frequency RFID wristband for wet venues
Water parks, pools and spas are hard on credentials: cards get lost in the water and paper bands break up. The ID-DFW-809 is a sealed IP68 silicone band that stays on through rides and pool sessions, and its chemical-resistant body is made for high-moisture venues.
Two chips, two jobs
- HF 13.56 MHz, NFC-compatible: tap-to-pay at food counters and kiosks, locker access and treatment-room doors
- UHF 860–960 MHz: gate entry and attendance reads at up to several metres; the range covers India's 865–868 MHz band
A guest can enter through a UHF gate, open a locker and pay for lunch with the same band, and the venue sees every transaction against one guest record.
Colour and branding
Bands can be matched to Pantone colours and printed by silk-screen or laser, so day passes, season passes and staff bands look different at a glance. The adjustable fit lets staff size each band to the guest's wrist at the counter.
Before you roll out
Encode the HF and UHF chips to the same guest ID, and test UHF reads with bands on wet wrists at your actual gate, since water and the body reduce UHF range. If your system needs a specific HF chip such as MIFARE Classic, DESFire or NTAG, compare the ID-DFW-808 dual frequency wristband, which lists those options.
