Overview

A PVC RFID wristband built to stop band sharing

Every band carries a passive chip with its own unique ID, so a reader identifies the wearer in a moment at a gate, ride or ward. The strap is premium PVC, comfortable for extended wear, and it closes with a non-reusable locking plastic snap. Because the snap is a one-time security closure, the band cannot simply be unfastened and passed on, which discourages transfer of paid entry.

Colour coding and printing

PVC bands come in a wide range of colours and patterns, which makes visual checks easy: one colour per day, ticket class or zone lets staff spot the wrong band without a reader. Each band can also carry a logo, sponsor message, barcode, QR code or variable data, and can be pre-encoded on request.

LF, HF or UHF

The band is made in all three main RFID frequency bands, so it can join a system you already run. HF chips (NTAG203/213, I-CODE, MIFARE Ultralight, MIFARE Classic 1K) suit tap-to-pay and turnstiles, and the UHF Alien Higgs 3 suits reading at a distance. It is waterproof and resists moisture, shock and temperature, rated −25 °C to +60 °C.

Frequently asked questions

What are RFID PVC wristbands used for?
Revenue and crowd control at amusement and leisure centres, patient identification, access control, cashless payments and race timing. Each band holds a passive chip with a unique ID, so the wearer is identified quickly at gates, counters and wards.
Can the PVC wristband be removed and given to someone else?
It is designed not to be. The non-reusable locking plastic snap is a one-time security closure that discourages transfer, so each band stays with one wearer for the visit or stay.
Are RFID PVC wristbands available in custom colours and printing?
Yes. They come in a wide range of colours and patterns and can be printed with logos, barcodes, QR codes and variable data for visual checks, branding and sponsorship.
Which frequency should I choose?
The band is passive and comes in LF, HF and UHF. LF and HF (13.56 MHz) suit close-range taps at turnstiles, counters and lockers; UHF, which in India operates in the 865–868 MHz band, suits reading at a gate. Match the frequency to the readers you already run.
