RFID PCB and Ceramic Tags for Harsh Environments and Metal Surfaces in India
RFID PCB and Ceramic Tags are rigid, high-durability RFID transponders designed for direct attachment to metal surfaces, high-temperature equipment, and assets subjected to mechanical shock, vibration, chemicals, or steam sterilisation. Identium, a BIS certified and Made in India RFID manufacturer, supplies PCB and ceramic UHF RFID tags tuned to the WPC approved 865–868 MHz India frequency band with EPC Gen2 encoding, as well as HF variants for ISO 15693 applications, serving manufacturing, oil and gas, tooling, and hospital equipment tracking use cases across India.
Ceramic RFID tags withstand temperatures exceeding 200°C, making them suitable for autoclave sterilisation in hospitals and surgical instrument tracking, as well as high-temperature metal processing environments. PCB tags offer a cost-effective rigid alternative with strong on-metal read performance and screw-mount or adhesive attachment options. Both formats are available with pre-programmed EPC or UID data and optional data-lock for tamper resistance.
