The IDTS-2504 is a slim passive UHF RFID strip tag built on a green PCB substrate, measuring just 25 x 4 x 1.8 mm. Its narrow bar form factor is designed for items that simply have no room for a conventional label or hard tag - circuit boards, thin edges, slender handles and cable runs. The chip sits under a small black epoxy dome at the centre of the strip, which is where the 1.8 mm figure is taken (the highest point of the tag); the rest of the body is thinner still. Four small through-holes at the corners of the PCB allow the tag to be mechanically fixed rather than relying on adhesive alone.
