IDTS-1907 UHF On-Metal PCB RFID Tag 19 x 7 x 4 mm | Two-Hole Anti-Metal Tag for Tools, Jigs & Equipment

The IDTS-1907 is a compact on-metal (anti-metal) UHF RFID tag from IDentium, built on a PCB substrate in a slim 19 x 7 x 4 mm bar format with rounded ends. It is made for the assets that defeat ordinary labels and inlays: small metal tools, fixtures, fittings and equipment parts where there is barely a strip of flat surface to work with. Two large central through-holes and four small copper-ringed corner holes let the tag be fastened down permanently, so identity stays with the asset through daily handling and years of circulation on the shop floor.

Applications

  • Tool cribs and hand-tool issue registers - spanners, torque wrenches, air tools and jigs that are drawn and returned every shift, where the 19 x 7 mm footprint fits on a shank or handle boss without fouling the grip.
  • Jigs, fixtures, moulds and dies - fastened to a steel fixture body through the two central holes so each tool carries its own identity for setup verification and preventive maintenance scheduling.
  • Valves, pipe fittings and small pressure fittings in utilities, oil and gas and process plants, where a narrow bar tag suits the flat of a body or a bracket better than a large plate tag.
  • Electrical panel, switchgear and control-cabinet components - breakers, relays, busbar supports and cable-tray sections tagged individually for audit and inspection rounds.
  • IT asset audits - server rails, network switches, rack accessories and metal-bodied equipment where a small on-metal tag keeps annual physical verification quick and accurate.
  • Manufacturing WIP and returnable metal parts - assembly carriers, small housings, motor bodies and machined components tracked between stations on the line.
  • Railway and workshop equipment inventories - small metal components, gauges and depot tooling that need a durable, mechanically fastened identity rather than an adhesive label.

Why Choose This Tag

  • Built for metal, not adapted to it. This is an on-metal (anti-metal) design that gives approx. 2.5 m read on metal - the surface that normally detunes a standard UHF label is exactly where this tag is meant to sit.
  • Small enough for the assets that matter. At 19 x 7 x 4 mm it goes where plate and hard tags cannot: tool shanks, fixture bodies, fittings and equipment brackets, without adding bulk that snags in handling.
  • Mechanical mounting, not adhesive. Two large central through-holes of 2.3 mm at a 15 mm pitch, plus four small corner holes, allow the tag to be fastened down permanently so it stays with the asset for its full service life.
  • Wide operating temperature range. Rated for -20 C to +150 C operation, giving you room to work across cold stores, general shop-floor conditions and hot equipment areas with a single part number.
  • Standards-based and reader-agnostic. ISO18000-6C with 128-bit EPC and 96-bit TID means it works with the fixed readers, handhelds and middleware you already run, and the factory TID gives every tag a unique reference for audit trails.

Read range figures are typical values obtained on a metal surface and are indicative only. Actual performance varies with reader output power, antenna type and orientation, the mounting surface and the surrounding environment. We recommend a site trial with your own reader setup before large-scale deployment.
