At transfer stations, MRFs and landfill weighbridges, the goal is to remove the human step between "a vehicle arrived" and "this ticket belongs to that vehicle". Tag reads are raw events, not reports. CPCB is required to set up a centralised online platform for registration, reporting and tracking of waste flows from generation to disposal, with national, state and district dashboards, operational within six months of commencement. Your job is to turn millions of low-level reads into the attributable records that platform expects.

What will RFID not solve in a solid waste project?
Being honest about the limits separates a specification that survives audit from one that gets blamed later. RFID gives you identity and time. It does not give you content, mass or capability.
- It does not verify segregation quality inside the bin. A tag read proves the bin was presented and serviced; it cannot tell you whether the wet stream was contaminated. That needs human inspection or AI-assisted sorting at the facility.
- It does not replace weighbridges. RFID identifies the vehicle; the weighbridge measures the load. Fee assessment on mixed waste needs both, plus a recorded quality determination.
